The tee shirt is iconic. When we saw Marlon in Streetcar and James in Rebel, there was no going back. This garment was an afterthought until the 1950s and it’s just gotten better since then.
Made from enzyme treated, ring spun cotton, these tee shirts are a substantial 250 grams per square meter. Why enzyme treated? It makes the fabric softer and pill less. Why 250gsm? The beefier the cotton, the longer the tee will last. And ring spun cotton is the more complicated process of using the finer cotton fibers in the yarns instead of the vegetal fibers.
Knit just 500 miles due east of our store in Toronto and embroidered with our badge at the nape of the neck by local stalwart Rowboat Creative, these tees more than compliment our tailored garments.
